with TMX”
TMX 3.0, ScriptTech’s next
generation test automation tool sits on top of an existing
test automation tools such as
CompuWare’s TestPartnerTM,
Mercury’s WinRunnerTM
or Segue’s SilkTestTM.
TMX 3.0 automates and simplifies
most of the manual processes associated with creating, running,
and executing tests of web-base or client-server applications.
The software reads in the objects that make up the application
(i.e. radio buttons, entry fields, combination boxes, etc.)
and builds and “Object Tree” that contains all
of the elements that need to be tested. A business user
(as opposed to a trained testing analyst) can then define
what scenarios they wish to test using the TMX
3.0 “point and click”
interface to create the sequence of steps needed to complete
the test case.
TMX 3.0
then automatically generates a version
of the test case in Standard English as well as the fully
executable script in TestPartner, WinRunner, or SilkTest.
The test case is saved into your test library for batching
